The Licks is an acoustic duet with a Celtic-Jazzy-Rock sound. Nicole Scoffield is a classically trained violinist who has a flare for improvising and singing. She has played in numerous orchestras and bands covering many genres. Nicole met Mickey in a Celtic Rock band and since then they knew they would be life long musical buddies.
Mickey Hovan has been playing guitar professionally for 35 years in a variety of bands including Classic R&B, Jazz, Celtic and World Music. He has toured extensively throughout the Western states and Canada. A keen multi- instrumentalist, he is adaptable to any situation.
